Back from vacation

We are back from our annual Great Wolf vacation. We all had a lot of fun. The boys loved the Magiquest game and Joe and I enjoyed our massages at the Elements spa. Miranda was our little waterbug and she really loved the arcade.

The Traverse city Great Wolf was pretty nice. I actually like the waterpark better at the Sandusky location. Miss Miranda was all about the water slide. Finally, I get a kid that's not afraid! Kyle moved up to the next level of slide so we were okay with that. Pierce found a friend and was off!!!

Joe and Miranda and I got to spend some quality time with some cocktails, Miranda had fries, while the boys ran around the hotel playing their game. So we did get to relax a bit. Vacation can be a bit scary when the kids outnumber you!

I would really like to go with someone else next year. It would be great for the kids to have someone to pal around with. Kyle kept going from the wood thing to the little pool and scared the heck out of Joe! Plus Joe and I purchased a giant beer tube thing that we had to drink all by ourselves. Now don't get me wrong, we managed!!!

It's Sunday again.....

We had a pretty laid back weekend. Went out to Ikea yesterday. We only got to look at the top floor because we had the kids with us. Miranda ran around siting on everything like she had never seen a chair before. They have a daycare when you walk in but I was a little leery. Next time I'm droppin em off! There was lots of cool stuff. Kinda pricey but cool.

Joey and I went to dinner Friday night. The boys watched the kids. It was nice and quiet. We finally got to use our Olive Garden gift certificate. Then we ventured out to get a toilet seat. So after like two months of living with a broken seat we finally got a new one. I went to put it on today and it was broke!!!!!

Today we went out mattress shopping. We went to a little store that had a sweet set for 1099. Yes it is painful but we have a king size bed. So I said let's look around and we went to Gardner White. We found another cool set by VERA WANG (Why anyone would care I have no IDEA!) for a mere 2 grand. So we tell the guy we don't want a beautyrest because ours sucks and it broke after the five year warranty was up. Another guy comes over and says that has a ten year warranty!!! So a repair guy is coming to see if we can get a new one for free. SWEET! Since we moved it to a new house it will only cover a manufacturers defect, but why not try?

We also went to the Vitamin Shop. We got stuff to get rid of parasites and other creepy crawlies living in you. Gross!!! A friend of mine told me a gross story, that I will spare you, and needless to say I bought the stuff. I also bought some Slim Quick, why you ask? Cause I'm a sucker for commercials. It's says I will be thin if I eat well and exercise. Yep, I would probably be thin if I did those things without it. Now I must buckle down. I have to report to the weight loss man at work that I have not lost any weight again. This is the last week for that silliness. So I blew the first 3 weeks in the 12 wk challenge. Now I will FOCUS. Dammit, I drank water!!!!!

Finally posting some pics of McLovin!!!! He and Ceaser have become best buds. I think I planted the idea for a puppy and then Tommy joined in. We looked for a while at all the shelters and I finally found him in the Flint Journal. Pierce and I ventured out to the ghetto, not once but twice, and picked him up. Some dummy paid the deposit for him but never picked him up. Good for me. He had two sisters that the guy wanted to sell me for a deal. I tried to get my Dad to take one but no luck. He has his papers which is cool should we want to stud him later. His Dad was pure white which is kinda rare in Boxers. The boys love ruff housing with him. We are crate training him just like we did Ceaser. The vet says he will be about 50lbs. I will have a small dog!!! Well Ceaser is 117lbs so I guess it's all relative. Ceaser has actually pepping up a bit. He runs and plays outside with Mc. His hips don't seem to be bothering him as much. He is going to be 9 in March. I'm not sure how much longer we will have him.

Who said Sunday was supposed to be lazy......

Well I don't belive it. Today is my only day off and I hae a crap load of things to do. The really sucky part is I cannot move. I don't know if I pinched something or slept wrong but by back is killing me! I took half a vicodan and hour ago and it still is not feelingh any better. This happens to me every few months. Old age at it's finest.

Of course there is laundry to do. I may be the only one who understands after you wash the clothes they go in the dryer. If they sit in the washer you must rewash or stink like nasty mildew. Tommy did have the luxury of wearing one of these shirts to work!! HEHE!

Joey is wanting to make chili for the Superbowl this evening. I must go to the grocery store for those ingredients. Hopefully our cow will come soon. I am tired of paying big bucks for less than qulity steaks.

i must shower
